Arrival from Katunayake Airport and Transfer to Kandy.

DAY 1

En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. This orphanage is the home for about 60 elephants, out of which some are baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times, when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed. Also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see them having their daily bath.

Check in at the Hotel.

P.M. proceed on a city tour of Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site. The name "Kandy" conjures visions of splendour and magnificence.

Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.Also visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

In the evening visit Dalada Maligawa-The Temple of the Tooth Relic in time for the 'Pooja'. Thereafter witness a typical Sri Lankan Cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.

After Breakfast leave to Nuwara Eliya

Day 2

En-route visits the tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.

P.M. Proceed on a city tour, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery is Sri Lanka s most popular hill resort. Sri Lanka s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara-Eliya also has one of the finest 18hole Golf courses in South Asia. The hill station of Nuwara Eliya is celebrated for its fresh climate, the wonderful scenery all around, and its "Englishness" Wonderful mountain panoramas surround the wide valley, into which fall many lovely but icy waterfalls

After Breakfast Leave to Bentota.

DAY 3 Check in at the hotel.

P.M. proceed on a Bentota sightseeing, which is a paradise of unlimited sun, sea and sand. The rest of the Day is at leisure to indulge in various water sports activities to take a picturesque boat trip on the 'Madhu Ganga' river. The primitive life style of the inhabitant of the island of the Madu River is only a boat ride away. The boat ride takes us through the thick mangroves and abundant the bird life, to reveal the primitive style of fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands.

Also visit the Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda which is being operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. Several species of turtles, especially the endangered hawksbill are protected here. Most vulnerable of all are their eggs, which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. The goodwill of Kosgoda area fishermen who bring these eggs gratis to the hatchery has led to the hatching and have released around 100,000 young turtles in only two.

Itinerary:

Day 01:

Arrival- Corbyn's Cove- Cellular Jail Light & Sound Show Arrival at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to respective Hotel. After checkin and some rest, take a drive towards Corbyn's Cove Beach, about 7 kms from Port Blair. This coconut palm fringed beach, is ideal for swimming. Later we will proceed towardsthe National Monument the Cellular Jail, and witness the saga of the Indian Freedom struggle through the Light and Sound Show, held within the same complex. Return to Hotel. Stay Overnight at Port Blair

Day 02:

Havelock Island After breakfast and as per ferry timing transfer to Jetty to take the onward ferry to Havelock Island. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the respective hotel / resort. After checkin, proceed to the Radhanagar Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches on the Islands. The beach has also been ranked 07th among the beaches of Asia by the TIME magazine. Return to hotel / resort. Stay Overnight at Havelock Island.

Day 03:

Return to Port Blair from Havelock Island.(Check out time 0800 hrs) Spend the Morning at leisure. (You can choose for Optional tour to Elephant Beach ( at a supplement Cost ) , just 40 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. It's also a great place to just spend time lazing on the beach. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some beautiful pictures to take back home). Later in the afternoon transfer to Havelock Jetty to take the return ferry to Port Blair as per ferry timing. Upon return from Havelock Island, transfer to Hotel. Stay Overnight at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.

Day 04:

Port Blair City Tour - Ross Island ( Note : Ross Island is closed on Wednesdays) After Breakfast visit the Administrative Capital Prior to Independence from where the Britishers governed the entire A & N Islands-ROSS ISLAND, A destination for Nature Walk amidst friendly Deer's&Peacocks. Smritika Museum, records the life of its political prisoners. The Island still houses the Commissioner's Palace, the bakery, British Officer's Club, a church and an old cemetery of the British officer's on the Island though these buildings now lie in ruins. (Subject to availability of tickets or instead wandoor beach will be covered)

Later proceed for a City Tour of Port Blair which includes the Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) - exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands, Anthropological Museum - displays tribal essential and artefacts', Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) - gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography and archaeology of these islands, visit the National Memorial-Cellular Jail, Designed especially for solitary confinement it earned the Islands the dreaded name of Kala Pani, and the Water Sports complex. Stay Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 05:
